Power Flushing in London
After a few years, central heating systems silt up. Iron oxide sludge collects at the bottom of radiators, restricts flow, kills boiler efficiency and eventually starts breaking expensive components like pumps and heat exchangers. Power flushing pumps water through the system at high velocity with a chemical cleaner, lifts the sludge out, then refills the system with fresh water and inhibitor. Done properly, it brings dead radiators back to life and adds years to your boiler. Done badly, it can rupture old pipework — which is why Ilir surveys the system first and tells you honestly whether it’s a candidate.

How the job gets done

Survey first
Ilir checks the system age, pipework condition, and whether power flushing is the right call (sometimes a chemical flush is safer for old systems).
Set up and isolate
Power flush pump connected, system isolated, dust sheets and protection laid down.
Flush each radiator
Each radiator individually flushed in turn, sludge captured and removed, until water runs clean.
Refill and inhibit
System refilled with fresh water, inhibitor dosed correctly, magnetic filter fitted, system balanced.
